British Energy Carbon Calculator

HMC Interactive has recently completed an environmentally conscious kiosk for British Energy. The custom built touch screen lets businesses calculate the carbon footprint created by their current energy provider, and displays how much British Energy could save.

As part of their exhibition stand at The Energy Event 2007, the kiosk reflected British Energy’s commitment to cleaner energy. A FTSE 100 company, British Energy Group plc is the UK’s largest producer of electricity and the lowest carbon emitter of the major UK electricity generators.

Working with Carbon Global, HMC Interactive delivered a turn-key solution to British Energy, handling the design and build of the carbon calculator software and the presentation hardware. The finished kiosk was a successful sales tool for the company throughout the exhibition.
